About the game and this policy
ArcVerk develops and publishes Statto's Virelia / Statto's Cyber Matrix (the “Game”). Unless an older version is explicitly mentioned, this policy describes the ad-free mobile version 1.03 on iOS, iPadOS and Android, including its story levels and minigames.
The Game does not require an ArcVerk account, a name, an email address or a social-media login. We do not operate an online player-profile, cloud-save or online-leaderboard service for this version.
Version 1.02 and all earlier versions may still contain advertising services and advertising-related tracking. Updating this policy does not change an older copy of the Game already installed on a device. Update to the ad-free version 1.03 when it is available for your device and region.
Settings, scores and progress
The Game stores information in its local app storage so your progress and preferences are available when you return. This includes:
- High scores, recent results, completed levels and unlocked content.
- Earned coins, collected crystals and other saved gameplay state.
- Language, sound and difficulty settings.
The Game uses this information to provide gameplay and does not upload it to us. Touch, keyboard and supported controller input are processed on your device.
Device backups are separate: depending on your device settings, Apple, Google or another backup provider may include local app data in a backup or transfer it when you restore or change devices. These functions are controlled by your device and backup provider, not an ArcVerk cloud-save service.
Advertising and tracking by version
Version 1.03: no advertising or advertising tracking
Advertising has been removed from version 1.03 of the Game. This version does not use Google AdMob, Unity Ads, rewarded advertisements or other advertising SDKs.
We do not access advertising identifiers such as Apple's IDFA or Android's advertising ID, create advertising profiles, link your activity with information from other companies for advertising, or sell or share player data with advertising networks or data brokers.
Because version 1.03 does not perform this tracking or access the IDFA, it does not request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Versions 1.02 and earlier: advertising and possible tracking
Earlier advertising-supported releases used Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). Versions 1.02 and earlier may therefore still collect and share data through this advertising integration. Depending on the SDK version, platform, ad configuration and privacy permissions, this may include:
- IP address and approximate location: an IP address can be used to estimate the device's general area.
- Device or advertising identifiers: for example, Android's advertising ID, Apple's IDFA when permission allows access, or identifiers scoped to an app or developer.
- Advertising and interaction data: ad impressions, ad clicks, video views and interactions such as app launches or taps.
- Diagnostics: crash information and measurements of app or advertising-SDK performance.
This information may be sent from the device to Google and, where involved in ad delivery, advertising partners. It may be used to deliver and measure ads, analyze advertising performance, limit repeated ads and prevent fraud. Google's SDK documentation describes these categories for iOS and Android/Unity; the exact behavior of an older release depends on its integration and settings.
Advertising-related tracking: when personalized advertising or cross-company advertising measurement is enabled, advertising services may combine app activity and identifiers with information from other apps or websites. This can constitute tracking. Non-personalized ads are not based on past activity for targeting, but can still involve data processing for delivery, reporting and other advertising functions; they do not necessarily mean that no data is collected. See Google's explanation of personalized and non-personalized ads.
Your choices: use any advertising-consent controls offered by the older app and the privacy or advertising controls in your device settings. On iOS, access to the IDFA requires App Tracking Transparency permission; denying that permission does not by itself stop all advertising-related data processing. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services for Google's practices and privacy controls.
The removal of advertising and tracking in version 1.03 does not retroactively remove advertising services from older installed versions or erase data previously collected by those services. Use the privacy controls available in the older app and your device settings, or update to version 1.03 when available.
Diagnostic data and platform services
The Game is built with Unity. Version 1.03 collects technical diagnostic data about faults and the operation of the Game. This data is transmitted off your device for troubleshooting and to improve stability and reliability. Removing advertising does not mean that all data collection has stopped.
Diagnostic data is used to investigate technical problems and improve the Game. It is not used for advertising, advertising profiles or tracking your activity across other companies' apps or websites. Diagnostic collection is separate from the local storage of scores, settings and game progress described above.
Apple and Google separately operate their stores and device services. They may process information about downloads, store transactions, backups and device diagnostics under their own privacy policies and your settings. This is distinct from advertising or tracking by the Game.
If you choose to share diagnostic information through your platform's settings, the platform may make crash or performance reports available to developers. Any such reports we receive are used to investigate faults and improve reliability, not for advertising.
See Apple's privacy information and Google's Privacy Policy for their practices and controls.
Support messages
If you email ArcVerk, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, such as a message, screenshot or diagnostic attachment. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
We use this information to answer your request, troubleshoot problems and handle privacy questions. Our email provider processes messages to deliver and store them. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and necessary follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing support and resolving issues, or on a legal obligation when one applies. Support correspondence is not used for advertising or sold to others.
Access, deletion and privacy rights
You can change available preferences in the Game and remove local game data using your device's app-storage or app-deletion options. Offloading an app may preserve its data. Backup copies and restoration are managed separately through your device or backup provider. ArcVerk cannot remotely restore or erase a save that exists only on your device.
For personal information we process about you, including diagnostic data where it relates to you, you may request access, correction or deletion. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to receive a portable copy. Contact us using the address below.
You may raise a concern with your local data-protection authority. In Norway, this is Datatilsynet.
Children's privacy
Version 1.03 does not ask children to submit personal information, create an account or participate in advertising. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent personal information to us through a support message, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Websites and external links
Opening a website or email link takes you to a separate service. Your browser, email service and the destination site's provider handle those requests under their own privacy practices.
This policy page does not embed advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or third-party fonts. Delivering a web page nevertheless involves technical request information, such as an IP address and browser details, which the hosting provider may process to serve and secure the site. This is separate from the Game's local gameplay data.
Keeping this policy current
Local saves rely on your device's security. We take reasonable precautions with diagnostic data and support information, but no storage or communication system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the effective date above. Material changes will also be explained through appropriate channels, such as release notes or an in-game notice. This policy does not authorize undisclosed future advertising or tracking.
